Swimming ended today, so my glory days of being a top beginning swimmer are over until next summer. I do have to state for the record though that today I did 100 meters of butterfly, not in a row of course but in 4 sets of 25s! Still a big accomplishment even if I do butterfly a bit like a masochist who is repeatedly launching themself out of the pool only to belly flop back down, wiggle and begin the whole process again. I have a feeling that I am going to be extremely sore tomorrow, but that's okay, especially considering the fact that tomorrow a.m. I am going on a weekend getaway with the sisterhood of the travleing pants with a day trip to see my cousins and the by now world-famous Dora!!! At last, I can start working on beating my phone at accruing frequent flyer miles.
